Hytale: Official System Requirements — Can Your PC Handle the Adventure?

With Early Access just around the corner, the Hytale team has published official hardware recommendations so you know what rig will let you enjoy the game best.

Hytale is not all about graphics. Other than the scenes, it's also always generating worlds, updating environments, and managing player content. Performance can vary a lot between players, especially with mods or busy multiplayer servers.

Minimum System Requirements (1080p, ~30 FPS, Low Settings)

OS: 64-bit Windows 10 (version 1809) or Windows 11
CPU: Intel Core i5-7500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 (or similar)
RAM: 8 GB with a dedicated GPU / 12 GB with integrated graphics

Graphics:
• Integrated: Intel UHD 620 or AMD Radeon Vega 6
• Discrete: NVIDIA GTX 900 series, AMD Radeon 400 series, Intel Arc A-series

API: OpenGL 4.1 or newer
Storage: SATA SSD with roughly 20 GB free
Network: Around 2 Mbit/s for multiplayer (UDP/QUIC)

This setup is meant for relaxed play. Exploring the world, building on a small scale, or playing solo should feel smooth, but larger areas or busy servers may require tweaking a few settings. Lowering view distance, lighting, or overall detail often helps keep things running stable.

CPU: Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon 660M, or modern dedicated GPUs from NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel Arc
Storage: NVMe SSD with roughly 20 GB free
Network: About 8 Mbit/s for stable online play

With these specs, Hytale starts to shine. Frame rates are smoother, movement feels more responsive, and dense areas with lots of activity won’t force constant compromises — even in multiplayer sessions.

For Streamers and Content Creators (1440p, Heavy Load)

CPU: Intel i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
RAM: 32 GB
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 30 series, AMD Radeon RX 7000 series, or Intel Arc
Storage: NVMe SSD (a separate drive for recordings is recommended)

Important performance notes

Hytale is built with modding right at its core. Custom mods, huge builds, or crowded servers can push hardware much harder than expected — and that’s something players should keep in mind when planning their setup. The developers also stress that optimization is still in progress, so these numbers may shift as Early Access moves forward.
